Wingo Anderson appeared in 7 games in the National League with the Cincinnati Reds in 1910. The left-handed pitcher logged 17 1/3 innings, allowing 16 hits, 17 walks, striking out 11 batters, and allowing 9 earned runs for a 4.67 ERA. He failed to record a decision.
Wingo showed up in 1911 with the Southern Association Nashville Volunteers where he went 10-8 (.556). He also swatted 11 hits in 54 at bats for a .204 batting average. At one point, possibly in 1906, he played for the Cleburne Railroaders. Source: Railroaders There is no further information, at this time, on "Wingo."
