Biographical Information[edit]

Windeily Ramirez was on the first Dominican women's national team.

Ramirez started the first Dominican game, in the 2018 Women's Baseball World Cup, playing left and batting 7th. She struck out twice against Rina Taniyama. She got her first hit the next game, versus Maddison Tabrett as the Dominicans beat 2014 Bronze Medalist Australia for their first win ever; she drove in two that day. She was 3 for 3 with 3 runs and 3 RBI in a rout of Hong Kong and finished the tourney at .333/.316/.389 with six runs and five RBI in seven games, handling two putouts in left. She led the newcomers in runs and tied Johanna Bakli and Yocarla Guerrero for their most RBI. [1]

In the 2022 Women's Baseball Americas World Cup Qualifier, she was at .353/.421/.353 with four runs and four RBI in five games, fielding .857. [2]
