After starting off 2016 by going 2-2, 3.13 for Ottawa, he got another shot in organized baseball with the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He went 10-8, 3.42 for the Oklahoma City Dodgers in 2017, which earned him another shot at the major leagues. With the Los Angeles Dodgers that season, he put up an ERA of 17.18 in 3 games.
