William Trimble
William E. Trimble
William Trimble was a white racetrack owner from Peoria, IL. When Rube Foster suffered a nervous breakdown in 1927, Trimble took over ownership of the Chicago American Giants. He was known to gamble and requested that Bill Foster pitch when he had money on the game. In 1932, he sold the club to Robert Cole.
