Robert Cole
Robert A. Cole owned the Chicago American Giants from 1932-1935, during which they were known as Cole's American Giants. An undertaker by trade, Cole was active in the Negro Leagues as treasurer of the Negro National League, vice president of the Negro Southern League and as one of the principals behind the first East-West Games.
