William Lintern

Will Lintern was born in South Africa and moved to California at age 4. He became involved with British baseball at a young age, appearing for Britain's junior national team. He played for Britain's Brighton Buccaneers in 2001-2002, then played US college ball. In 2007-2008, he was with the London Mets, hitting .350/.563/.400 the latter year. In 2009, he signed with Germany's Gauting Indians and finished the year with a batting line of .148/.213/.148 in 24 games. The catcher allowed 41 steals while only throwing out two runners, giving up the most steals in the circuit. He led the southern Bundesliga-1 with a .992 fielding percentage at catcher, though. He was put on Britain's preliminary 40-man roster for the 2009 Baseball World Cup.

He is a brother of George Lintern.
