West Baden Sprudels

The West Baden Sprudels were a Negro League team from the resort town of West Baden, Indiana. Playing in Indiana's Springs Valley, their main rivals were the French Lick Plutos, another nearby resort team. Dizzy Dismukes was the team's star pitcher in 1911. They reportedly had a record of 0-5 against other top black teams in 1910 and 0-5 again in 1912.
The Indianapolis ABCs drew the best players from the Sprudels and Plutos and by 1915 had effectively superseded both clubs.
