Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Wes Whisler was drafted in the 41st round of the 2001 amateur draft by the Chicago Cubs but continued on to college. He was then signed by the Chicago White Sox and scouts Rick Ingalls and Matt Hattabaugh as a 2nd round pick in the 2004 amateur draft.
