Biographical Information[edit]

Wendell Simmons went 1,079-541-1 in 34 years as an amateur coach. He spent 1992-2010 at the University of Central Oklahoma, taking them to the 1997 Division II College World Series. He previously spent 1978-1991 as coach of Edmond Memorial High School following one year as coach of Dover (OK) High School.

Simmons' older brother, Lloyd Simmons, was also a longtime college coach.
