Biographical Information[edit]
Wen-Sheng Hsiao caught for the Taiwanese national team in the 1976 Amateur World Series. He later managed Taiwan in the 1988 World Junior Championship, 1990 World Junior Championship (Silver Medal), 1992 Junior World Championship (Bronze), 1994 World Junior Championship (Bronze), 1995 World Junior Championship (Silver) and 1998 Asian Junior Championship (Silver). He coached for Taiwan in the 1995 Asian Championship (Bronze), 1999 World Port Tournament, 1999 Asian Championship (Bronze), 1999 Intercontinental Cup, 2000 Haarlem Baseball Week and 2001 World Port Tournament. He managed Taiwan in the 2005 Asian Youth Championship, winning it all. He also guided them in the 2006 World Junior Championship. He managed the Taiwanese women's national team in the 2016 Women's Baseball World Cup, when they made their first medal game. He coached for them when they took Silver in the 2018 Women's Baseball World Cup for their first medal. He has also coached men and women at Taipei City University.
