Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Welinton Ramirez played in the Toronto Blue Jays system from 2006 to 2010 and in the Cincinnati Reds system in 2011. He peaked at High A. Perhaps his best campaign was 2009, when he slashed .317/.350/.474 with 4 home runs, 39 RBI and 17 stolen bases in 73 games between the Auburn Doubledays and Lansing Lugnuts; he was a New York-Penn League Mid-Season All-Star that year. In 2007, he stole 26 bases in 68 games for the DSL Blue Jays 1. Overall, Ramirez hit .267/.322/.399 with 23 home runs, 195 RBI and 66 stolen bases in 393 games over 6 seasons.
