Biographical Information

Wei Zhang played for the Beijing Tigers in the China Baseball League, and he won Rookie of the Year in 2004. He also represented China in the 2005 Asian Championship and 2005 Baseball World Cup. In the latter event, he backed up Guogang Yang at third base, going 0-for-6 and making two errors in ten chances.
