Biographical Information

Wayne Krivsky was General Manager of the Cincinnati Reds for just over two years.

Krivsky attended Duke University, where he played baseball for three years.

After working as assistant GM of the Minnesota Twins and in the Texas Rangers front office, Krivsky was named GM of the Reds in February 2006. His most high-profile move with the Reds was an eight-player trade with the Washington Nationals that year that sent Austin Kearns and Felipe Lopez to Washington for Gary Majewski and Bill Bray. Following a 9-12 start in 2008, he was fired and replaced by Walt Jocketty. In 2013 he as a Special Assistant to General Manager for the Twins.
