Biographical Information[edit]
Wayne Kirby is the brother of NFL player Terry Kirby. He was a coach with the Baltimore Orioles from 2011 to 2018, after a number of coaching assignments in the minor leagues. In 2020, he returned to the coaching ranks as first-base coach for the San Diego Padres, staying in 2021 as well. In 2022, he moved to the New York Mets as first base coach, staying until the end of the 2023 season.
