Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Walter Snodgrass played in the minor leagues from 1905 to 1909. Per records available, his best season was 1908, when he hit .263 with 72 hits n 83 games for the Fairmont Badies.
He managed the Newark Idlewilds in 1905 and the Newark Cotton Tops for the latter part of the 1906 campaign, replacing Andy Sommers. He also managed the Georgia State League's Albany club for part of 1906, replacing E.D. Alexander. He was the Badies' skipper for the latter part of 1908, replacing Reddy Mack.
