Biographical Information[edit]
Walt Whittaker came out of Tufts University to pitch one game for the Philadelphia Athletics, on July 6, 1916. He pitched 2 innings, while Michael Driscoll pitched 5 innings. It was the only big league game for both of them. Walt faced Harry Heilmann, Ty Cobb and Bobby Veach once each.
