Wake Forest, NC

Wake Forest is located in central North Carolina; it is a suburb of Raleigh, NC. The campus of Wake Forest University was orginaly located here, but it moved to Winston-Salem, NC between 1946 and 1956 (the former campus is now home to Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary). Wake Forest High School is also here.

Tommy Byrne is strongly connected to the town as he studied at the university when it was still located in Wake Forest, then was its mayor and died here.
