Moore later went on to play in various independent leagues.
Moore managed the Edinburg Roadrunners of the Central Baseball League in 2005 and the Edinburg Coyotes of the United League from 2006 to 2008. The team then changed their name back to the Edinburg Roadrunners when Moore managed them in 2009 and 2010. Moore led the Roadrunners to the title series in 2010.
