Biographical Information

Victor Mata managed the DSL Yankees/Padres in 1992-1993.

Mata has also scouted for the New York Yankees and been the Yankees' Latin American Field Coordinator. He signed Ivan Nova, Hector Noesi, Yhency Brazoban, Melky Cabrera, Maximo Nelson, Joaquín Arias, Jose Valdez, Jimmy Paredes, Eduardo Nunez and Rudy Guillen for New York.
