Biographical Information

Victor Hernandez pitched in the minor leagues and the Taiwan Major League.

Hernandez was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 28th round of the 1995 Amateur Draft, and he hit .152/.250/.152 for the AZL Athletics in his first season. He improved to .236/.345/.389 in 1996, then he struggled in 1997 as his batting line was .149/.243/.207 for the Southern Oregon Timberjacks. The Athletics then released him, and he had a .283/.358/.408 batting line for the Somerset Patriots while hitting .237/.322/.395 with the Newburgh Black Diamonds. Hernendez had a .232/.274/.323 batting line for the Sarasota Red Sox in 2000, and he went 1-for-18 with the Long Island Ducks in 2001. He then signed with the Taipei Gida, but he only hit .164/.307/.260 in 2001 TML and his professional career ended.
