Team History[edit]
The Southern Oregon Timberjacks were a short-season single-A (or Low-A) affiliate of the Oakland Athletics and competed in the Northwest League from 1996 to 1999, succeeding the Southern Oregon A's and the Medford A's. The original franchise relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and were renamed the Vancouver Canadians after the former Triple-A Pacific Coast League team now known as the Sacramento River Cats.
The Timberjacks played their home games at Miles Field their entire tenure in the NWL.
