Veterans Memorial Stadium I

Veterans Memorial Stadium I was a ballpark in Cedar Rapids, IA from 1949 to 2001. It was home to numerous minor league teams - the Cedar Rapids Rockets (1949), Cedar Rapids Indians (1950-1954), Cedar Rapids Raiders (1955-1957), Cedar Rapids Braves (1958-1961), Cedar Rapids Red Raiders (1962-1964), Cedar Rapids Cardinals (1965-1972), Cedar Rapids Astros (1973-1974), Cedar Rapids Giants (1975-1979), Cedar Rapids Reds (1980-1992) and Cedar Rapids Kernels (1993-2001). It was replaced by Veterans Memorial Stadium II.
