The University of Massachusetts Amherst is the flagship campus of the University of Massachusetts system. It was known as the University of Massachusetts from 1947 until the creation of the UMass system.
The baseball player with the most major league at-bats and home runs to come from the school is Gary Disarcina. Mike Flanagan has the most wins and innings pitched and Jeff Reardon has the most saves.
