Catcher Ulrich Snijders is in his third minor league season in 2008.

Snijders was picked by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 45th round of the 2005 amateur draft. He debuted with the 2006 AZL Brewers, hitting .260/.374/.363 in 28 games. In 2007, he batted .226/.308/.441 for the AZL Brewers with 10 of his 21 hits going for extra bases.

Snijders split 2008 between the West Virginia Power (.200/.303/.348 in 45 G, 55 K in 135 AB) and the AZL Brewers (.216/.322/.431 in 14 G).

Let go by Milwaukee, Snijders signed with T&A San Marino in the Italian Baseball League. He was 9 for 36 with 3 doubles, 2 homers, 4 walks and 10 RBI in the regular season but whiffed 20 times. After going 1 for 14 in the playoffs, he went 2 for 6 with two doubles in the Italian Series.

Snijders played for the Antilles in the 2010 South American Games.
