The USSSA Space Coast Stadium and Athletic Complex in Viera, FL, was the home of Melbourne-area affiliated baseball from 1994 through 2016, ending the tenure as Space Coast Stadium and the Carl Barger Baseball Complex. After that, the Washington Nationals moved their spring and Gulf Coast League operations into a new shared complex in West Palm Beach, FL.

When Brevard County, FL leased the complex to the United States Sports Specialty Association, the Brevard County Manatees of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League began playing in an existing stadium in Kissimmee, FL - the very venue the USSSA had vacated. The USSSA and the county then renovated the Barger complex into an amateur sports facility and USSSA headquarters.

Space Coast Stadium opened in 1994 as the spring home of the then-Florida Marlins, who later swapped sites with the Montreal Expos - now the Nats. It was the only stadium hosting FSL and spring games of different organizations. The name and model space shuttle out front salute Cape Canaveral, FL, whose launch pad is just 13 air miles away.
