Biographical Information[edit]

Tzu-Chiang Huang played in the CPBL for 4 years.

Huang was drafted by the Mercuries Tigers in the first round of the 1996 CPBL Draft, and he hit .282/.293/.282 in his rookie year. His batting line fell to .198/.244/.233 in 1997, and he hit .265/.306/.325 in 1998. The Tigers traded him to the Wei Chuan Dragons for Wen-Hsien Cheng after the 1998 season, and Huang recorded a .169/.257/.221 batting line in 1999. In the 1999 Taiwan Series Game 1, he was involved into a fight between Kuang-Hao Wang and Bernie Tatis, and he was suspended for 10 games. The Dragons were expelled after the 1999 season, and Huang's professional career ended.

Overall, Huang had hit .216/.270/.260 with 88 hit in 4 seasons in the CPBL.
