Biographical Information[edit]
Tyler Wolfe played middle infield during his college career and graduated from Kansas State University in 2016 with a degree in psychology. In 2019 he also earned a master's degree in sports management from Indiana State University.
The Houston Astros chose Wolfe in the 39th round of the 2016 amateur draft. He played in their minor league system until July 2017 when they released him. Wolfe signed with the Sioux Falls Canaries of the independent American Association to finish out the year. Wolfe continued playing independent league baseball until ending his career in 2019.
The St. Louis Cardinals hired Wolfe in 2020 to be the hitting coach for the GCL Cardinals before the minor league season was cancelled due to COVID-19. Wolfe was hitting coach of the ACL Rangers in 2023. Moving to the Texas Rangers' chain, Wolfe was a development coach fo the Frisco RoughRiders in 2024.
