Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Tyler Chism began his professional career in 2011.

He was taken by the Kansas City Royals in the 43rd round of the 2011 amateur draft. That year, he hit .265/.355/.415 with eight home runs and 36 RBI in 65 games for the Idaho Falls Chukars. He missed 2012 due to an ACL injury, but in 2013 he hit .274/.372/.394 with 12 steals in 80 games between the Burlington Royals and Wilmington Blue Rocks. He played in 17 games between the Lexington Legends and Wilmington in 2014 before being released by Kansas City.

Overall, he hit .268/.359/.408 with 16 home runs and 70 RBI in 162 games over three seasons.
