Biographical Information[edit]
Travis Jewett has been a college coach.
He was assistant coach at Tacoma Community College in 1994 then head coach in 1995-1996. He was head coach of Edmonds Community College in 1997-1998. He led the team to the 1998 NWAACC Baseball Championship, winning Coach of the Year honors. He then went to Gonzaga University as assistant from 1999-2001. He then was assistant at the University of Washington from 2002-2004 and at Washington State University from 2005-2009.
From 2010-2012, he was assistant at Arizona State University; they went to the finals of the 2010 College World Series. He was assistant coach at Vanderbilt University from 2013-2016, working with Dansby Swanson most notably. The team won the 2014 College World Series. He became head coach of Tulane University in 2017. Jewett was fired in mid-May 2022, just before the end of the season [1]. Jay Uhlman was named interim coach. Jewett moved to USC as an assistant coach in 2023.
