Biographical Information[edit]
Toshihiro Nakao has played in Nippon Pro Baseball and for the Japanese national team.
Nakao represented Japan in the 2006 Intercontinental Cup, hitting .300/.391/.450 with five runs and five RBI in six games; he handled 10 putouts error-free as Japan's starting left fielder. He led the team in RBI, tied with Kanya Suzuki. The Yakult Swallows drafted him in the fifth round of the 2007 NPB draft. He only had two at-bats with the big club, and spent his 3-year career in the NPB Farm Leagues. Nakao announced his retirement after the 2011 season.
