Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Tony Stathos played in the St. Louis Cardinals organization from 1951 to 1957, reaching AAA for nine games in 1954. He had gone 12-0 to lead Sacramento City College to a state title in 1951. His best season was a 25-7 campaign for the Fresno Cardinals in 1952. He also spent time in the Army from 1955-1957. He was the brother of Gus Stathos.
