Biographical Information

Pitcher Tony Pena was signed by scout Junior Noboa for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2002. He made his pro debut for the DSL Diamondbacks that summer.

Pena threw two innings for the Dominican Republic national team in the 2009 World Baseball Classic, allowing a Carlos Lee single and nothing else.

Pena, formerly known as Adriano Rosario, is unrelated to former catcher and manager Tony Pena and his son also named Tony.
