Biographical Information[edit]
Tony Jacobs served in the Marines in World War II. After the war, he pitched twelve years in the minor leagues and had sips of coffee with the Chicago Cubs in 1948 and the St. Louis Cardinals in 1955, pitching a total of two games. He then worked for the Glass Plant of the Ford Motor Company. He died at age 55 and is buried at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
