Ton Hout was an umpire for 26 years in the Netherlands and worked at least 400 games in Hoofdklasse. He said he only ejected three players in his career. He umpired in Haarlem Baseball Week in 1976, 1980 and 1984. He also umpired in the 1987 World Port Tournament, 1977 European Championship, 1981 European Championship, 1985 European Championship, 1986 Amateur World Series, 1986 European B-Level Championship, 1988 Baseball World Cup and the European Cup.
He died at age 61.
