Biographical Information[edit]

Tomokazu Teramura pitched in NPB and the CPBL.

Teramura was drafted by the Chiba Lotte Marines in the second round of the 1997 NPB draft, and he had a 2.60 ERA in 1999 after spending his first season in the NPB Farm Leagues. He only pitched one game for them in 2000, then the Marines traded him to the Yakult Swallows for Takahiro Yamazaki. Teramura was 2-1 with a 4.32 ERA in 2001, then he recorded a 4.30 ERA in 17 relief outings in 2002. He was then traded to the Kintetsu Buffaloes for cash, but he had a 5.79 ERA in 3 games. The Buffaloes then released Teramura, and he signed with the Macoto Cobras in 2005. He allowed 14 runs in 13 2/3 innings for them, then he announced his retirement.

Overall, Teramura was 2-1 with a 4.24 ERA, struck out 54 and pitched 80 2/3 innings in 5 years in NPB.
