Biographical Information

Tom Wheeler has been a college coach and a scout.

Wheeler was assistant coach at the University of Northern Colorado (1971-1975), while also assisting for the basketball team. He later was head coach of Colorado State University (1976-1980) and Saint Mary's College of California (1981-1985). He was a scout for the Houston Astros (1986-1991), Colorado Rockies (1992-2003), Cincinnati Reds (2004-2007) and Milwaukee Brewers (2007- ). He signed Al Osuna and Curtis Partch.
