Biographical Information[edit]

Starting pitcher Tom Robson began his professional career in 2012.

He blanked Cuba for six innings in the 2010 World Junior Championship in a scoreless duel with Omar Luis before Evan Grills relieved him and lost the game. He got the call in the Bronze Medal game but lost to Cuba that time. He was taken by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 4th round of the 2011 amateur draft, out of high school. The scout was Jamie Lehman.

With the Bluefield Blue Jays in 2012, he went 0-2 with a 4.09 ERA in three starts. Between Bluefield (3-0, 1.38 ERA) and the Vancouver Canadians (3-0, 0.94 ERA), Robson went a combined 6-0 with a 1.12 ERA in 13 games (12 starts) in 2013. He was 2-4 with a 6.25 ERA in 8 starts for the Lansing Lugnuts in 2014.
