Biographical Information[edit]
Tom Ragland played in the majors in 1971-1973, having his best year with the Cleveland Indians in 1973, when he appeared in 67 games. He was primarily a second baseman, and with the Indians was seven years younger than teammate Gaylord Perry.
Tom started in the minors in 1965, and was with the Denver Bears for part of each season in 1970-1972 and 1974.
Through 2019, the only other player with the same last name has been Frank Ragland. Both spent some time playing for the Washington Senators.
