Biographical Information[edit]
Third baseman Tom Quinlan is the brother of big leaguer Robb Quinlan. He was drafted by the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames in the fourth round of the 1986 NHL draft. He instead signed with the Toronto Blue Jays after being drafted the same year in the 27th round in the 1986 amateur draft.
Quinlan was the MVP of the 2000 Korean Series while playing for the Hyundai Unicorns; he was the first foreigner to win the award.
