Infielder Tom Krawczyk peaked at AAA, as did his son Jack Krawczyk. The Chicago Cubs took him in the 4th round of the 1967 amateur draft, the 62nd overall pick. He hit .305/.407/.466 in 38 games that year for the Caldwell Cubs but was 2 for 20 with 3 walks for the Lodi Crushers. He was named the Pioneer League All-Star shortstop. In 1968, he batted only .234/.285/.279 with no home runs in 284 plate appearances for the San Antonio Missions. He fielded just .922 at shortstop. He split 1969 between the Quincy Cubs (14 for 87, 3 2B, 13 BB, 12 E) and Tulsa Drillers (0 for 10, BB). In 1970, he was with San Antonio (3 for 16, 3B, 3 BB, 2 E) and the Salt Lake City Bees (.211/.273/.324 in 33 G). Tom had batted .227 with a .303 slugging for his career.
