Biographical Information[edit]

Tommy Cahill played one season, playing five positions with the Louisville Colonels, the final Louisville entry of the old American Association in 1891. In 119 games, seeing action at catcher, shortstop, second base, third base and the outfield, he hit .253 with 68 runs scored.

Collegiately, he played both baseball and football at Holy Cross. He later managed the Troy Trojans in 1892-1893, the Troy Washer Women in 1894 and the Scranton Miners in 1894. He died of complications from an injury on Christmas Day in 1894.
