The teenager made one appearance, relieving Edouard Vanheer in the second with a 3-2 deficit against Israel, two on and no outs. Facing two former major leaguers to start off, he allowed a RBI single to Ty Kelly and a sac fly to Ryan Lavarnway. Brett Holtz and Assaf Lowengart both singled to make it 6-2 and a Robb Paller sacrifice fly brought in another before Zev Moore grounded out. He finished with seven hits, two walks and four runs (three earned) in four innings; fellow second-generation player Robbe De Boey succeeded him. [6]
