Toledo/Indianapolis Crawfords
The Toledo/Indianapolis Crawfords refer to the final incarnation of the Pittsburgh Crawfords, who had played as the Toledo Crawfords in 1939. After starting the 1940 season in Toledo, OH Gus Greenlee moved the team to Indianapolis, IN for the final part of the season. The new Indianapolis Crawfords went 3-5 in the Negro American League before folding.
