Biographical Information

Tod Dennehey was given a shot in left field with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1923. He was a Philadelphia boy. Eventually Johnny Mokan, who hadn't previously been much of a hitter, would win the job and go on to hit .300 several times for the Phillies.
