Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Medlin was head coach at Newberry College from 1989 to 2005. He took the school to the NAIA District Tournaments in 1989, 1991, and 1992 and the NAIA Area Tournaments in 1989 and 1992. The school won the 1999 South Atlantic Conference Tournament, among its 7 appearances under Medlin. He was inducted into Newberry's Hall of Fame in 2013.
Medlin was manager of the Columbia Blowfish in 2006-2009. He returned to college as head coach of University of South Carolina Sumter in 2014, taking the school to the 2015 NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series.
