Biographical Information

Tim Lollar pitched a two-hitter on July 29, 1984 as a member of the San Diego Padres against the Houston Astros. He walked 5 and struck out 7 in the game. The two hits were singles by Alan Ashby and Enos Cabell. Tim did not pitch well in the 1984 postseason as he was 0-1 with a 10.50 ERA in 2 starts.

He was an excellent-hitting pitcher with a career average of .238 with 8 HRs and 38 RBI in 231 ABs. He hit home runs against Hall of Famers Phil Niekro and Tom Seaver in his career.

According to his SABR biography, after baseball Tim did homebuilding and then went into golf. In 2010 he was named the PGA Golf Professional of the Year in Colorado.
