Biographical Information[edit]
Theo Bomeisler was an amateur player for the Philadelphia Olympics in the era before professional baseball; his brothers Edwin and Charles also played. Theo was an umpire in the National Association from 1871 to 1875. He umpired at least one game in each of the five seasons the league was in existence, for a total of 23 games in all.
