Biographical Information[edit]

Théo Brelle has played in the top level of French baseball, as have his cousins Matthieu Brelle-Andrade, Julien Brelle-Andrade and Pierre Brelle-Andrade.

Brelle debuted for the Templiers de Sénart in 2010, but was clearly outclassed at age 16. He went 1 for 22 with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts at the plate, while he had 11 passed balls (6th in the Division Elite) and fielded .781 while backing up Jamel Boutagra at catcher. In 2011, he went 0 for 12 with a walk, 6 whiffs and an error for the Templiers. Playing for France in the 2011 European Junior Championship, he was 2 for 8.

Brelle began to come into his own for Sénart in 2012, playing regularly in the outfield until the team was able to recruit a few additional American players in mid-season, sending him back to the bench.

Théo is the son of Bruno Brelle, an executive with the Sénart club, and nephew of Mario Brelle, the club President.
