Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Terry Bradshaw played for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1995 and 1996, batting .262 in 34 games. He returned to the minors for good in 1997 and finished his playing career in 1999 in the Montreal Expos organization. All together, Bradshaw played professionally for nine seasons and appeared in 999 games.
After retiring as a player, he became a minor league coach in the Kansas City Royals organization.
- 2000 Hitting coach Charleston Alley Cats
- 2001 Hitting coach Burlington (IA) Bees
- 2002-2003 Hitting coach Wilmington Blue Rocks
- 2004-2008 Hitting coach Omaha Royals
- 2008 Hitting coach Surprise Rafters in the Arizona Fall League
- 2009-2012 Hitting coach Northwest Arkansas Naturals
- 2013-2017 Minor league hitting coordinator
In 2018, he was named the major league team's hitting coach. He remained in this position until being fired on May 16, 2022 and replaced by Alec Zumwalt. In 2023, he moved to the Cincinnati Reds as assistant hitting coach. This gig only lasted two years as the Reds fired their manager during the 2024 season and fired the hitting coaches after the season due to an injury-riddled, poorly performing offense. It should be noted that their healthy shortstop, Elly De La Cruz, had a very good offensive season.
Bradshaw is not to be confused with Terry Bradshaw, quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1970s and 1980s and winner of four Super Bowls.
