November 25: Today's featured birthday is that of Chico Walker, who turns 67.
- 1925 - Milt Stock (pictured) becomes the only major leaguer of the 20th Century to collect four hits in four straight games.
- 1947 - Akira Noguchi, a pitcher, hits the first inside-the-park grand slam in Nippon Pro Baseball history.
- 1948 - Dick Lane of the Muskegon Clippers crushes five home runs in a day in the Central League, not one of the many hitters' circuits of the era.
- 1966 - Tony Cloninger clouts two grand slams in one game, the first player to do so in the National League. He drives in nine, the record for RBIs by a pitcher.
- 1974 - Mike Marshall sets a record when he appears in his 13th game in a row. Marshall saves the game for Tommy John. His streak will end in the second game of the doubleheader.
